Sustainability and social responsibility
Deploying renewables makes our future cleaner and greener. In collaboration with organisations such as the Cruz Roja, EOSOL makes annual contributions to support environmental projects, as well as promoting corporate volunteering and opening new avenues of support aimed at raising awareness, attracting volunteers or funds.
We develop actions focused on meeting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the 17 goals to eradicate poverty, preserve the planet and improve the lives and prospects of all people by 2030. In particular, at EOSOL we incorporate the following SDGs into our strategy:
- Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy.
- Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
- Goal 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure
- Goal 11: Sustainable cities and communities
- Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
- Goal 13: Climate action
- Goal 15: Life of Terrestrial Ecosystems
- Goal 17: Partnership to achieve the goals
Linked to this line, within EOSOL we carry out actions that allow us to drive positive changes in the quality of life of the communities near our projects and move towards more sustainable and widely available energy thanks to our Corporate Social Responsibility Plan. Before starting any activity, we identify, assess and measure the potential impact we may have in order to minimise or mitigate negative impacts.
These relationships are based on constant and participatory dialogue with local communities, mutual respect, support and trust. Due to the SARS-COV 2 pandemic, EOSOL supported vulnerable or economically challenged populations in order to improve access to basic healthcare services.
In order to meet the demands and requirements of the standards, EOSOL has implemented a Quality, Environment and Safety Management System:
