Solidarity and sports work better together
Last weekend of March 25-27, the Navarrese/Rioja Association María Salus Infirmorum organized a Solidarity Paddle Tournament at the University of Navarra, with the aim of using all the amount raised in the different projects they currently have in Kiongwani, Kenya.
This association has been working in the Afrikan country since 2006 and his main objetive is improve three basic and fundamental aspects for the integral development of the person: education, healthcare and social power. In this way, they provide the town with structures to work, develop their qualities and progress with their own effort.
For the first moment, EOSOL joined the rest of sponsors of the event to provide visibility to the event and promote participation in it. The reception was such that there were even people who did not participate and still decided to donate the participation fee in the tournament!
The association was always taking care of the participants and decided to reward all the assistants with a welcome pack that included a drink, a yogurt and a special invitation.
Once the event had ended, the Association communicated that the objective was completed obtaining the amount of € 4,700, that will be used for the reform of the houses of the inhabitants of the town or, on the other hand, to be able to offer more services in the Primary School built in the territory.
Finally, we would like to thank both players and the collaborative companies of the event for the great work achieved.
